Uni of QLD Zoom

UQ held a Zoom meeting with the young entrepreneurs today. It was centred around story telling and pitching an idea. Whilst this would’ve been ideally suited in term 3, before the students engaged in Shark Tank, there were still some key take aways for the students. The telling of a story and building community, rather than focusing on the product itself, is a oft repeated message from entrepreneurs from around the world, and one we are looking at incorporating into our own business journey. The students will check in with ex-CEO of Woolworths Grant O’Brien and advertising guru Luke Dunkerley next week for further tips on marketing and building brand.
